Letter to Pelosi

Dear Ms. Pelosi:

I write to you out of utter disdain! You are as despicable and un-American as the traitor Jane Fonda.

I am a soon to be 75-year-old who has voted in every state and local election since 1966.  I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats alike.  I have worked on campaigns for both Republicans and Democrats, white and black.  I served the country that I love in Vietnam, as my son did in the Middle East.  I was awarded two bronze stars.  I have been involved in politics since age 6 when my father was campaign manager for a truly great American Congressman, Charles Raper Jonas, who worked for his constituents and his country, and was to be admired, unlike you.

You obviously haven’t read the Constitution recently, if ever, the Federalist Papers, or even David McCullough’s book on John Adams. You ought to take the time while riding around in your government provided luxury executive jet to do just that. You represent Socialistic and even Marxist principals that our founding fathers tried to avoid when setting out the capitalistic republican form of government represented by our Constitution.

I find it interesting that you and your husband are multi-millionaires with much of your fortune being made as a result of your public service. You have controlled legislation that has enhanced your husband's investments both on and off shore.  At the same time, you redistributed the wealth of others.  Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of you. You ride around in a Gulfstream airplane at the tax payers expense while criticizing the presidents of companies who produced something for the economy. You add nothing to the economy of the United States; you only subtract there from.

I would like to suggest that you return to the city of fruitcakes and nuts and eat your husband's canned tuna and pineapple produced by illegal immigrants and by workers who have been excluded from the protection that 90% of the legal workers in the United States have.

I await your defeat in the next election with glee...

Don’t ever use the term un-American again for protesters who love this country and are exercising their rights upon which this country was founded. By the way, while I served in the Army, I was spit on by the same type of lunatics who support you and who you probably supported in the 60s and 70s. You are an embarrassment to all of us who served so that you would have the protected right of free speech to call us un-American.  But at the same time, I have the right to write you to notify you that I consider you to be un-American, as do the majority of the people of this formerly great country.  You are a true disgrace to most of the people who served this country by offering themselves for public service in the United States Congress.

I feel certain your aides will not share this letter with you, but I intend to share it with many...  

A Nation No Longer "...Under God"?

Dear God,

You have been my rock, my guiding light, my assurance when situations have appeared dire.  Over these many years, you've offered unparalleled wisdom and comfort to my life.  However, after nearly two hundred and fifty years of my life, a first has occurred which has never happened before.

It was by your divine providence that I was born.  You protected my founding father & first president from being killed several times in battle.  You helped me see the truth about an institution which, sadly, was a part of the early culture which helped me grow into a strong and thriving place among many, at the cost of their freedom and respect; slaves.
  
I gave up hundreds of thousands to you who fought to put that horrible institution to an end, then I paid the price for over a hundred years after that, to overcome the consequences of this vile thing that hung over my people like a dark ominous cloud; the KKK & Jim Crow.

Eventually, I became the envy of everyone else.  I have been desired by them, because my founding fathers recognized the principles and truths behind your loving grace. They established me under the truth that all of my citizens were born with unalienable rights you gave them, and not government, as well as those who sought to come to me because of that truth, by acknowledging you as the provider of the rights you bestowed on them from creation in my declaration from tyranny.

But now, there those among the elected few today who have come to see fit to no longer acknowledge your importance  any longer.  They now have decided to ignore you by simply leaving any reference to you, even when those called before that governing body to testify to the truth using a simple oath mentioning your name.

I'm sorry!  Please, God, forgive those who think and believe they're representing those of us who still love, revere and acknowledge you as our creator, and are grateful always for the blessings you've bestowed upon my people.  Help us to pray for them.  Help us to love them, despite their well meant intentions out of whatever it is that motivates them to do what they are now trying to do. As your son said, "Forgive them, for they know not what they do."

Your word tells us, Lord, that if we acknowledge our sins, and repent, you will forgive us.  For, if we don't, and we continue down this path, then we are unknowingly bringing upon ourselves a circumstance which I will potentially never escape. And, I will move from being a "shining city on a hill", to one groping around in a dark cave of despair and lamentations (like Venezuela is now); never knowing whether we will be able to return to the liberties, freedoms and prosperity we have enjoyed and taken for granted for these many years of my recent past.

The Resurrected Use of Calumny

New material was finally acquired this past week by Judicial Watch revealing proof that James Baker, a former American government official at the Department of Justice who served as general counsel for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), gave the Clinton team all their information on their investigation about her "outlaw" email server.

Now we know why the server's hard drive was BleachBitted, her Blackberries were hammered to pieces, and some of Hillary's close advisor, who were lawyers, were allowed to represent her when she was brought into the FBI for questioning; even though James Comey had already crafted his exoneration speech months before. It's a good thing "Carlos Danger" - Huma Abadin's husband, Cong. Weiner - had Clinton emails on his laptop, which were discovered later.

For reference, I invite my readers to watch Jim Baker's interview on CNN recently to observe how adept these people are in lying while on television. It's what liberals and "Deep State" officials do who know they can't say the wrong thing!

Whatever Happened to Title IX?

As I enter my golden years of life, I often think back fondly on my earlier days when I was a teen in high school, through the Air Force, and on into college when I was a very active athlete from 17 to 27 years old.

In high school I competed in both cross-country and track as a long distance runner who worked hard to become the league champion in both sports of the small league my school was in. Just after graduating, Title IX was enacted across the country which opened athletics to females who had, up to that point, been excluded from participation in most high school sports.

It's been a very satisfying experience as an educator to see over my lifetime how female athletes have become such a fantastic addition to the experience of young students being able to develop as leaders as they grew into young adults. However, that now has all changed.

What is it that has changed? The liberal/leftist recent pressuring that a small minority of people be allowed to participate in athletics where they clearly have an advantage; transgendered males. To better understand what the issue is here, I invite my readers to watch this eight minute video of one Connecticut athlete who's future as a high school athlete is being ruined because of this very thing.

If such a thing happened to me when I was in high school I would have been absolutely infuriated, had I been a female. So, here's my question I posed in the title of this post: Whatever happened to the ideal that Title IX was supposed to help advance females? Don't the liberal/leftists even care anymore about feminism? Apparently not!

This Is What Bravery Looks Like

It was not too many years after the massacre at Tiananmen Square event that I was waiting outside my school building after students had gone home and an evening event in the gym was going to happen later, that I had a conversation with a Chinese man who was standing out in front in the same area. I had no idea who he was, other than a father of a student at my school, his background, expertise, nothing.

I struck up a conversation with him and I asked him about what he thought of this event which occurred 30 years ago (only a few years prior at that time).  At the time he told me, I was a bit surprised at what he had to say about the future of China. Now, after almost three decades, I'm stunned at how accurate he was in his predictions. 

Suffice it to say that what he said was prophetic.  He told me that China was setting a long-range plan to develop the "lion's share" of the global market in trade, and that their means of doing so would be viewed by the rest of the free world as tyrannical.  America, he said, would have no idea what hit us until after the fact.

How correct he was! And, I'll never forget that conversation.

For those of us old enough to have seen the 1984 Orwell style commercial will appreciate seeing this. For those of us too young to have had the opportunity to see it, pay close attention!

The crowd in rows of seated zombies is watching the huge theater like screen with unblinking eyes, and an athletic woman with short hair in a white tank top jersey and shorts is running in down the middle isle with a hammer, who then spins around as she gets close, and releases the hammer into the huge screen to blow it up, in this PragerU video about how our "Big Tech" companies have now taken the position as "Big Brother" today, as Brent Bozell explains.
