In our modern day mass media overload, the narrative from the majority of news and commentary sources is using a misleading premise regarding the social injustices of blacks today. This is how the liberal/socialists of the left wing leverage their ability to convince the public that they have a valid cause. A couple of the more recent issues of the BLM narrative, and "kneeling during the national anthem" at sporting events are two cases in point.
In an earlier interview of Thomas Sowell - a member of the Hoover Institute at Stanford University - challenges this false premise with hard evidence proving that this is an intentional misleading of the public. I provide the link to this interview here for the sake of allowing others to understand what Mr. Sowell is pointing out.
In another interview with a former member of the Black Panthers of the '60s - Clarence Mason Weaver - points out the fallacies of the BLM's premise that the black community must have whites care about them and their plight more.
If, on an intellectual level, we are willing to examine the facts, and not the emotional ploy of today's liberal press, then we can better understand how our modern issues which are constantly bombarding the consumer, are subtly persuading them with false reasons one should support such causes of these SJWs (Social-Justice Warriors).
Footnote: If you're willing to examine this interview of two BLM supporters it will become obvious how they are using talking points which they are only repeating and are void of any ability or skill to think critically about what the interviewer - Jamie Lee Peterson - is asking them to think about. (His process is called the Socratic method.) This is a prime example of just how steeped in their narrow world of social injustice these two interviewees are because today's education system is dominated by those who promote this meme onto their students. (I would know from 30 years of working amongst their ranks.) And, if you're intellectually honest with yourself, you'll recognize the obsession of "power" to the point of acquiring it so they can impose dominance over the white community. Also, if you're paying attention to the interviewees carefully, you'll notice how they react when confronted with questions of logic from the interviewer. And when the interviewer points out that they're angry, it quickly generates a response which spouts their indoctrination talking points, which is all they know or understand. Finally, once the interviewer confronts the interviewees with the key question, "What do you want from white people?" notice how they react. It's VERY telling!
