Death by a Thousand Leaks

I couldn't have said it better than Dick has, so here's his latest input on our current media coup:
============
The Anonymous Assassination Of Donald Trump By DICK MORRIS
Published on DickMorris.com on May 17, 2017

Lee Harvey Oswald hid behind the sixth-floor window of the Dallas Book Depository Building as he aimed his rifle at JFK.  But, hiding in the grassy knoll ahead was at least one other hidden assassin closing in for the kill shot.  It was the first anonymous assassination of a president in US history.  Donald Trump is in danger of becoming the second.  His assassins use words not bullets and hide behind the First Amendment, not the grassy knoll.

Every single story attacking Trump, every leaked memo, every intercepted communication, every rumored exchange is reported to the media by anonymous sources.  Death by leaking is a particularly Washington spin on the MO of the Salem Witch Trials.  Instead of hysterical girls claiming to be possessed by the devil, we have hidden bureaucrats and intelligence operatives who claim to have seen, overheard, or secretly read of the most villainous kind of presidential malfeasance.

This is a particularly offensive form of a kangaroo court.  There is no opportunity to confront -- or even know the name of -- one's accusers.  No right to see evidence.  No chance for cross examination.  No exploration of motives. Just accusation and suspicion.

To try to hobble or even impeach a popularly elected president by a death of a thousand leaks is an outrageous threat to democracy and we must not let it happen.

Consider this week's three scandals:

The president was right to fire Comey.  He got too enmeshed in partisan politics in the election to function effectively as head of the FBI.  He did not do his job of tracking down leakers, probably because those he would have to investigate work right outside his office.  He irresponsibly led to the publication of a lying, dirt-filled dossier of personal slander against the president.

Trump was also within his rights as commander-in-chief to tell the Russians anything he wanted about US intelligence findings.  The information our intelligence agencies unearth is not for their use alone.  It is part of the arsenal of weapons and incentives that the president has to have at his disposal in charming, threatening, or convincing foreign leaders in our national interest.

And consider the context of his talk with Comey.  His newly minted National Security Advisor had just been forced to resign after he called to calm Moscow down and forestall possible retaliation against the US for the sanctions Obama had just provocatively imposed on them for hacking the Democratic Party.  Flynn's sin was not in placing the call, but in lying to the vice president about it.  (The only law Flynn broke was the fossilized Logan Act, last prosecuted in 1803). The call was necessary so that the situation did not escalate seriously and unpredictably.

Trump was asking Comey to go easy on Flynn for having made the phone call.  This was not a broad injunction to close his eyes to all things Russian or any contact between Trump people and Moscow.  It was very specifically about the phone call Flynn had made to the Russians.  A phone call that was clearly in our national interest and Trump was asking Comey to cut him some slack.

But you won't hear any of this from the media.  They are on a mission to undo the will of the voters and oust Donald Trump.  They cannot be permitted to get away with it.

The Real Story About Trump & Russia

Dick Morris, who has recently provided regular "Lunch Alerts" over the past couple years leading up through the last presidential election and to today, provides his insight into what he believes is actually going on with the current media/intelligence community collaboration and Pres. Trump. Quite interesting!

The Myth of Socialism

An interesting reaction from the primates – quite close to human behavior?????

This is a 2:30 minute clip of an experiment done with monkeys to determine their reactions to unequal compensation for doing the exact same task.

Not only is it hilarious, but it shows how even a primate isn't fooled into accepting that their isn't a difference in the value of the reward given.

The Media's War With Pres. Trump

While the mainstream media is full-throttle at presenting to the public an image of President Trump as illegitimate and crazy, President Trump himself is obsessed with fostering what is a love-hate relationship with them. Some speculate that he's a master at manipulating the media, while others view the media as a well orchestrated propaganda machine that is obsessed with taking down the very man who the people themselves clearly said was their response to the previous administration's policies which took the country in the wrong direction.

Sheryl Attkisson, an accomplished reporter who was run out of one of the mainstream networks for her attempt to report on issues in an unbiased way, now has her own show; Full Measure. Her recent episode, 100 Days, is a great one on this topic of how Trump and the media have been going at each other's throat since day one.

As we all know, the media's focus on getting Pres. Trump impeached is the "Russian Meddling" topic. To those following this topic with any real rational logic it is rather obvious that this attempt is going nowhere because multiple times several testimonies from intelligence and law have not revealed ONE piece of evidence to support it.

However, what has surfaced recently are new revelations from what most, if not all the public has completely forgotten; Seth Rich's murder in D.C. shortly before Wikileaks released Hillary's emails. While this brief news clip on this page speaks in vague terms about the incident, the parents of Seth have hired a private investigator to dig into the whole matter and has encountered organized resistance by the D.C. police to his getting to the evidence on Seth's laptop which the D.C. police are holding.

The Everything Bubble?

Is there any evidence that the global monetary system is on the verge of collapsing? I know that sounds crazy to ask, but if you want to be aware of the reason I ask, I highly recommend you at least spend the time to check our Mike's reasons for his warning about what's coming.

This urgent, 35-minute presentation from Mike Maloney is a must watch. You'll see overwhelming evidence that stocks, bonds, and real estate could be in biggest bubbles of all time.

Sitcom "Last Man Standing" Cancelled Despite High Ratings

A couple of months ago Tim Allen apparently made a comment on a conservative talk show that living in Hollywood today is like living in Nazi Germany of the 1930s, which has now led to the cancelling of the highly rated sitcom Allen stars in as a conservative dad.

Gee... there was no mention of any outside pressure by the public on advertisers on the sitcom to boycott the show. So, Hollywood sure knows how to convince the public that it doesn't behave like Nazis of the 1930s!

Auntie Maxine Goes All Out

Watching this video from the local L.A. station covering Cong. Maxine Waters townhall recently, it's interesting, to say the least, that now with a president at the helm taking steps to start the process of turning the ship-of-state around, they are now experiencing and going through what Republicans, Conservatives, Libertarians, and Constitutionalists went through for the eight years of the previous administration; frustration and disgust with the policy actions being carried out to achieve his objectives.

You may notice, as you watch this clip, that the Trump supporters being ejected from the event have NOT been reported as having incited any violence, so the only conclusion I can make as to why they were ejected is because the rest of the crowd is unable to tolerate their presence.
