CAN YOU GUESS WHAT THIS IS???
I guarantee you won't believe it!
Can you get it on the first picture or second or third or do you have to wait till the fourth or fifth one??

IT  IS . . .   The New Cook County
Correctional Center
 in Chicago, Illinois
>> And yeah, they can also choose from the menu!
Let me see now...
Who was the US Senator who helped arrange the funds
to build this beautiful "punishment center"???
Oh yes, it was Senator Obama!!!
This is where his Administration planned on putting the terrorists from Gitmo, and we have Americans living in cardboard boxes on the streets that have never killed anyone. Nothing makes sense anymore!!!
No wonder there's such a huge shooting spree going on in Chicago... the perps get a luxury lifestyle as a reward!
MOST  PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THIS!

Benghazi and the Matching Serial Numbers

Never saw this on TV, probably never will.

This is the smoking truth finally………

Looks like the ship has finally hit the sand!!!!

Benghazi and the Matching Serial Numbers

Tyranny is so close!  Hopefully we are now witnessing the death throws of the lying liberal media. May they go the way of Montgomery Ward!

Benghazi and the Matching Serial Numbers

So here's the REAL story.  Ambassador Stevens was sent to Benghazi in order to retrieve US made Stinger missiles supplied to Ansar al Sharia without  Congressional oversight or permission.

Hillary brokered the deal through Stevens and a private arms dealer named Marc Turi.

Then some of the shoulder fired missiles ended up in Afghanistan and were used against our own military.

It was July 25th, 2012 when a Chinook helicopter was taken down by one of our own Stingers, but the idiot Taliban didn't arm the missile and the missile hit the Chinook it didn't explode, but the Chinook had to land anyway.

An ordnance team recovered the serial number off the missile which led back to a cache of Stingers being kept in Qatar by the CIA.

Obama and Hillary were now in full panic mode and Stevens was sent in to retrieve the rest of the Stingers.

This was a "do-or-die" mission, which explains the stand down orders given to multiple commando teams.

It was the State Dept., not the CIA, that supplied them to our sworn enemies, because Petraeus wouldn't approve supplying these deadly weapons due to their potential use on commercial aircraft.

Then, Obama threw Gen. Petraeus under the bus after he refused to testify that he OK'd the BS talking points about a spontaneous uprising due to a YouTube video.

Obama and Hillary committed treason and THIS is what the investigation is all about, why she had a private server, (in order to delete the digital evidence), and why Obama, two weeks after the attack, told the UN that the attack was the result of a YouTube video, even though everyone knew it was not.

Further...the Taliban knew that this administration aided and abetted the enemy without Congressional approval when Boehner created the Select Committee, and the Taliban began pushing the Obama Administration for the release of 5 Taliban Generals.

Bowe Bergdahl was just a pawn...everyone KNEW he was a traitor.

So we have a traitor as POTUS that is not only corrupt, but compromised, and a woman that is a serial liar, and who perjured herself multiple times at Congressional hearings.

Perhaps this is why no military aircraft was called in that night in Benghazi, because the administration knew our enemies had Stingers they could use.

Forward this again and again and again until everyone reads the true story.

And to think, over half of the US population doesn’t even know this event occurred!

The Only Constant Is Change

The longer I deal with using technology, the more this post's title is true. The only thing that one can be certain of as a constant is change.

I spend months, if not years getting familiar and comfortable with a particular interface - be it an operating system for Windows/Mac, Android/Apple, ISP email box, and suddenly a change is made that throws everything I've learned into chaos and confusion again. Once again, I have to spend months, if not years, discovering and remembering where this feature is, or that particular function is now because some geek programmer created some supposedly "better" interface.

I had to replace my cell phone recently and while there are some features which allow for improved capabilities, like the quality of camera images and voice when speaking with someone, the design leaves much to be desired when it comes to intuitiveness of the interface. Before getting my new phone I went into my service provider and had them help me - a senior citizen who now believes there's a conspiracy to make it more and more difficult for us to use newer tools - turn on the "cloud" upload feature so that I could transfer all contents to the new phone.

A few days later I got the new phone and asked the store agent to show me how I could download the old phone contents from the cloud. Rather than actually showing me, he just tapped a few times on my new phone and said, "There you go!" As a career educator I wondered if he even heard my request to be given instruction on how I could accomplish the task. After asking him if it was finished and that everything would be there on the new phone, he assured me that it would even pause and continue the download from the cloud once I got back to my house and set the Wi-Fi to automatically pick up my router's signal.

However, upon getting home and bringing up the main screen, I realized that there was no settings icon I could find like I had become used to locating on my old cell phone. As a result, I had no way to set the Wi-Fi feature to complete the download from the cloud. Frustrated that I had to return to the service provider store eight miles back into town, I went the next day and sought assistance with another agent.

Upon explaining to him what I'd encountered with the new layout of icons and features on the phone, I asked her to explain to me how I was supposed to know where to find the settings icon for the phone if the interface wasn't familiar to me on this new phone. Her answer was that I should just "explore" things on the phone to see if I could locate what I needed. After explaining that that is precisely what I attempted to do the evening before, she pointed out to me a small carrot symbol just above the bottom row of app icons and told me to place my finger on it and slide upwards.

Hidden within, or underneath this little carrot symbol, was the whole bank of app icons for the phone. I looked at her again and asked, "How am I supposed to know that that little symbol there is where I'm going to find all the apps?" Her reply was priceless, "I don't know, just mess around with stuff!" Wonderful!

Then, I explained to her after looking around in my photo gallery that there were only two images on the phone, I asked her why after the download had completed there at the store the other 98 images weren't there. Looking a bit confused, she took my phone, fingered on my phone's face for a minute, then told me that my photos had to be downloaded from a different server; Google's, rather than where the rest of my old phone's contents was downloaded from. But, when I asked her why that was the case, she couldn't explain why my photos were on a Google server and not the other with the rest of my phone's contents.

Over the past couple months I've been using this new phone I've received notices that the OS was being updated. After the update completed and I went into use it, some of the features looked different and functioned differently as well; forcing me to reassess how to deal with it. This constant change is getting to be extremely frustrating because it caters to the youth who think nothing of such rapid modifications to how technology is designed for interaction. Instead of wanting reliance and certainty, they enjoy and invite anything new, it seems.

And what is this fixation Google has with needing to have permission to know what my location is, what photos I have in my gallery, and who my contacts are, just to allow an app to work at getting directions to an address? Of course, there's text among the set up for the new "gizmo" I want to use telling me that my personal information will not be share with anyone, but we all know after the revelations a few years ago about the NSA, CIA, FBI, etc. that they gather our metadata voraciously. So, please, don't tell me my information's not shared with anyone.

New is clearly more important for marketing purposes as opposed to being consistent and reliable. But what of seniors who prefer that reliance of familiarity and certainty about how to do things and where to find them? We need those types of things to just be able to function in this age of rapidly changing technology. Forget it, we're living in a brave new world where technology is assumed to be infallible, yet it's always unreliable and glitchy, making our lives more frustrating and complex. I tend to wonder if it's really worth it.

Legislators Ignore Law - Stick It to Property Owners

It seems liberals, and some RINO legislators, in  Washington State's Capitol last session figured out a way to ignore the will of voters (their constituents)... exempt itself from a law established by voter initiative 16 years ago. Representative democracy appears to be dead!

Below is a recent post of Tim Eyman's that he shared with his subscribers about this issue:

Monday, November 6, 2017

Local government politicians have been whining to newspaper editorial boards lately about how tough it is with "Eyman's 1% property tax cap."

The Spokesman Review published my defense of it in their Sunday edition -- let me know what you think of it:

Guest Opinion: Tim Eyman: Don’t get rid of property tax cap
There is no decision that government makes that has a greater impact on our lives than taking more of the people’s money.

By Tim Eyman For The Spokesman-Review
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2017

Next year, everyone’s property taxes are going to go up a lot. During this year’s session, the Legislature exempted state government from the 1 percent property tax cap for the next four years to dramatically raise property taxes to fund education and to get the state Supreme Court off its back concerning the McCleary lawsuit.

So that’s now a reality that property owners have to deal with moving forward.

But one exception invites more exceptions. The Spokesman Review’s recent editorial “Tax limit continues to erode services” argues that since the state government has sidestepped the cap, then counties and other local governments ought to be able to sidestep it, too.

So because the Legislature exempted itself from this voter-approved law, we should allow local governments to be exempt, too? I doubt voters want that.

We are at the 16-year anniversary for the 1 percent property tax cap. Voters overwhelmingly passed Initiative 747 in 2001, and a Democrat-controlled Legislature overwhelmingly reapproved it in 2007. It’s working exactly as voters intended. It gives governments an automatic increase every year and if politicians want more, all they have to do is ask voters for it. Prior to this law, state and local governments could just take the money; now they have to ask our permission.

The S-R editorial stated, “A county plan to ask voters to approve a tax increase this November was scuttled.”

Voter approval is the safety valve built into this law, and it’s the reason every government has complete flexibility but only if they can convince voters to agree. Politicians always say that asking for permission before taking more of the taxpayers’ money is too inefficient. But the reason 58 percent of voters in 2001 and 90 percent of legislators in 2007 approved this cap was to make it tougher for governments to raise taxes. Why? Because politicians at all levels of government have repeatedly illustrated their insatiable appetite for higher taxes. And so, the people have rightly insisted on a greater voice in these all-important tax decisions in their communities.

The editorial highlighted this year’s House bill to get rid of the property tax cap. And it’s true that it was originally co-sponsored by two Republicans. But after hearing from their fellow Republican legislators and constituents, both GOP legislators abandoned their support for it. So there is no “bipartisan bill” to reopen Pandora’s box.

There is no decision that government makes that has a greater impact on our lives than taking more of the people’s money. Voters and legislators agreed to let the people have a greater voice in that decision. This law has worked for 16 years and because of the safety valve of voter approval, it’s perfectly OK to continue for another 16 years.

It’s true that local government officials, both Republicans and Democrats, are annoyed by the cap. That should shock no one. No politician likes to have their power diluted. But the entire reason our state constitution guarantees the right to initiative is to give the people the opportunity to pass laws that politicians never would. And the 1 percent cap on property tax increases is a law that the voters passed and still support. It should not be taken away just because local politicians say it makes their jobs tougher.

Last time I checked, being an elected official is optional – if they’re not up to the challenge, then they can step aside and allow a new generation of leaders to take over.

If the automatic increase in property taxes for local governments in and around Spokane isn’t enough, election leaders can always ask local voters’ permission for more. That’s been true for 16 years and it is still true today.

This is a proven, effective, flexible property tax limit. I seriously doubt that voters want it taken away.

Tim Eyman co-sponsored Initiative 747, along with Spokane’s Jack and Mike Fagan.

-- END --

Like I said, let me know what you think of it.

The 1% cap has saved taxpayers $12.6 billion since it took effect.

So no matter how much your property taxes have increased, they could have gone up 6 times higher if not for the passage of our 1% cap in 2001.

My Friend Just Can't Figure It Out

My friend wrote me an email today and he's still perplexed about why Hillary lost the election. So, I asked him what he thought might be the reason. Here's his reply.

I still haven't figured it out because there's too many reasons for me to consider, but none of them are in her new book - What Happened.

Was it the Russians, or was it WikiLeaks?

Was it John Podesta, or James Comey?

Was it her sexual predator husband, my "right-hand" assistant's husband Carlos Danger?

Was it the subpoena violation, or was it the corrupt Clinton Foundation?

Wast it the Congressional lies, or was it the Benghazi Bungle?

Was it the pay for play, or was it the Travelgate Scandal?

Was it the Whitewater Scandal, or was it the Cattlegate Scandal?

Was it the Troopergate Scandal, or was it the $15 million for Chelsea's apartment bought with foundation money?

Was it Comey's investigation of her private server in a bathroom closet, or was it all the classified emails that weren't secure?

Was it her husband's meeting on the tarmac in Arizona with A.G. Lynch, or was it being given debate questions before the debate?

Was it deleting 30,000 emails off that private server, or was it calling half the nation deplorable?

Was it the rigging of the nomination by the DNC, or was it the Vince Foster death?

Was it the Jennifer Flowers assault, or was it her settlement?

Was it the Paula Jones lawsuit, or was it her settlement?

Was it claiming she was under sniper fire when visiting Boznia, or was it her husband's impeachment?

Was it $6 Billion that was lost while she was S.O.S. in charge of the State Dept., or was it she took for the pardon of Marc Rich?

Maybe it was the signing of the UraniumOne deal while S.O.S., or maybe it was her husband's getting $500,000 for a 20 minute speech, or maybe it was the $145 million their foundation got from the Sythious group for the UraniumOne deal to give Russia a 20% control of U.S. uranium mine in our country, but they get to control!

Gee, I just can't quite put my finger on it, can you? I know it's got to be right in front of me!

It Will Never Be Enough, Part II

I received an email from one of our state legislators today and thought I'd share my reply to it with you.

Below is one of many paragraphs from his missive, with my response:

"When you look at the new investments being made in K-12 education, the numbers are historic. We are truly prioritizing education. State funding for schools has climbed from $13.6 million in 2012, to more than $22 million in the current 2-year budget. When all the reforms are in place by 2019-21, basic education K-12 funding will be more than $26.2 billion."

... and yet, the performance outcome of students grows worse by the year! I know, I spent 30 years in public school system. The WEA is a political lobby machine designed to perpetuate and grow their influence. How can I say this?

I was involved in the '80s with my local teacher's assoc. and went to several WEA conventions during that decade. I saw this lobby machine in action on the floor of the convention every time I went. I know from this they will NEVER be satisfied with whatever funding the legislature gives them because the school districts have traditionally continued to add more and more middle-administration to their Educational Service Centers and taking the lion's share of that funding in doing so, but the results continue to decline even though they have implemented newer "better" curriculum.

This is my wife's final year before she retires. I hear every day just how ridiculous the education system is for teachers now, not only from her district, but in the one I substitute in as well from other teachers. In my view, caving into the State Supreme Court's demand - under threat of daily fines - was the worst thing the Republican lead Senate could have done for education in this state.

You can't legislate morality when it comes to the predominantly broken/dysfunctional families which dump their children into the classrooms today.

Confusion on the N.Y. Terrorist Attack

I don't know about you, but I get the distinct feeling from all the recent revelations regarding the claim of collusion by the Trump campaign to manipulate the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. Now, with yesterday's terrorist attack we are see a coordinated effort by both the liberal left and the establishment right in both Congress and the mainstream media to push the same narrative that is attempting to negate any connection with radical Islam.

If you've paid attention over the years of repeated attacks and noticed the evidence repeating who the perpetrators were, it's obvious to any logical and mentally stable person to conclude that when the attacker shouts the phrase, "Allahu Akbar" in the process, or afterwards, loud enough to be heard clearly, then the common thread is what I consider the "war cry" by the radicalized Jhihadist that this act is part of a unified, but separate, ideology to wage war on "the infidels". Yet, those on the left, or establishment right in Congress, make Herculean efforts to couch their remarks to divert any connection to with radical Islamic Jihad and the perp! Instead, they recite the mantra, "Islam is a religion of peace!" The more important question, then, is why would they assert this?

I believe the majority of news consumers, busy with their daily lives - assuming they're working to earn a living - don't spend much, if any, actual time thinking, or researching such points in order to better understand the truth behind all these terrorist attackers' real intentions. Liberals who promote the claim that Islam is a religion of peace understand all too well the psychology behind repeating this statement. Busy citizens want to trust the "authorities" who are on television or radio and leave it mostly at that. In other words, liberals know that most of the public who consume news will accept their statements at face value, or without question as true. That liberals can somehow convince them that they should ignore  clips from Iran, or Syria, where Jihadists are shouting "Death to America!", or "Death to infidels!" is beyond my ability to understand.

One of the seemingly subtle points that is part of the narrative is that the phrase shouted by the perp is, "Allahu Akbar". Some state that it means "God is great!" while others have stated, or claim, that it actually means "God is greater!" Some will argue that this subtle difference doesn't really matter. I contend that it does. If one researches the meaning behind the phrase, as this page does, (here's another link for this) we learn that it has a multitude of meanings depending on who you choose to accept. But that this phrase is unclear, to me, reveals what I perceive to be a deliberate obfuscation; mostly on the part of Muslim Imams. While it is true that Christians often use the phrase "Glory be to God!", or "Praise the Lord", how many Christians of our modern era have you heard shout any such type of phrase praising God in this way while in the act of terrorizing the public while mowing them down, or cutting off someone's head? None!

Another phrase which the MSM is keen on using now about this individual attacks is "Lone Wolf". In my view, this is very misleading. It portrays the concept that these individuals are working alone. Nothing could be more untrue. The radical Muslims understand the need to work within a loose network of coordination and support to provide guidance and encouragement via social networks and the black Internet. Let's be honest... those who engage in illegal, or religious war in this case, will naturally operate in the shadows to avoid scrutiny.

And what of a potential solution? I personally would like to see a greater concerted effort by those in the media who understand this deception within the narrative put more effort into educating the public; much as some networks are doing by having former Jihadists on to answer such questions. We've been dealing with this infiltration and attack on our culture by Muslim radicals for decades now, I would think that by now we could get it together. Unfortunately, it seems the control of the MSM outlets are currently winning that war of misleading the country. Yet, there are some indications that this tide is slowly changing. Because of this reality, we must persevere in exposing this false narrative, for this the only way we be successful in defeating it.

Footnote: The following does a unique job of explaining the whole conundrum:
The problem with being a Muslim:

They're not happy in Gaza ...
They're not happy in Egypt ...
They're not happy in Libya .....
They're not happy in Morocco ...
They're not happy in Iran ......
They're not happy in Iraq ...
They're not happy in Yemen ......
They're not happy in Afghanistan ...
They're not happy in Pakistan .....
They're not happy in Syria ...
They're not happy in Lebanon ....

SO, WHERE ARE THEY HAPPY?

They're happy in England ....
They're happy in Canada ..
They're happy in Australia .....
They're happy in France ...
They're happy in Italy ...
They're happy in Germany .....
They're happy in Sweden ...
They're happy in the USA .....
They're happy in Norway ...
They're happy in Holland ...
They're happy in Denmark ....
Basically, they're happy in every country that is not Muslim and unhappy in every country that is!

AND WHO DO THEY BLAME?
Not Islam.
Not their leadership.
Not themselves.

THEY BLAME THE COUNTRIES THEY ARE HAPPY IN!
AND THEN; They want to change those countries to be like....
THE COUNTRY THEY CAME FROM WHERE THEY WERE UNHAPPY!

Excuse me, but I can't help wondering...
How damn [stupid] can you get?
Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim
Terrorists are so quick to commit suicide.
Let’s have a look at the evidence:
- No Christmas
- No television
- No nude women
- No football
- No pork chops
- No hot dogs
- No burgers
- No beer
- No bacon
- Rags for clothes
- Towels for hats
- Constant wailing from some idiot in a tower
- More than one wife
- More than one mother in law
- You can't shave
- Your wife can't shave
- You can't wash off the smell of donkey poop
- You cook over burning camel poop
- Your wife is picked by someone else for you
Then they tell you that "when you die, it all gets better"??
Well, no poop Sherlock!....
It's not like it could get much worse!
