Just Who IS Candace Owens?

Candace recently gave a speech at Liberty University only two days after President Trump spoke to the United Nations a few months ago.

I had seen her occasionally, or heard her mentioned, over the past year, or so, but really never had known why she has risen to prominence on the national stage of politics.

If you've not had a chance to discover her story and how she has burst onto the national scene from relative obscurity, then you owe it to yourself to take a half-hour of uninterrupted time, and watch this captivating speech she gave in front of at least a thousand students and faculty.

Now I understand why.

Political Debate Has Become Sectarianism?

If you've been paying attention to any degree about how our political dialog and debate has changed over the past decade, you may have realized lately that it's changed for the worse.

Just what does it mean about our nation's future when our politics has morphed from civil discussions in the past to an intense divisiveness across our nation today?

During the Obama Administration if any conservatives spoke up about what the president was doing policy wise to negatively impact the country, the media talking heads acted as though they couldn't understand why we were being so racist, or defended every move Obama made as justified and for the betterment of the country.

Then, when the "Whitelash" - as the self-proclaimed communist, Van Jones of CNN asserted - happened in the immediate post 2016 election that shocked the leftists when Donald Trump won over Crooked Hillary, the shift occurred ever so quickly' growing in fervor with every passing month.

For roughly eighteen months it was "Russian Collusion", then, when that didn't pan out well for the liberal/leftists, they shifted to calling Pres. Trump a "racist", "Hitler", you name it, on the issue of immigration. Now, with a man who despises the president's friendliness with Israel and kills 11 innocent Jews in their synagogue, they call him an Anti-Semite.

In two years, the level of hysteria and vitriol has intensified to the point of today's commentary on the major news outlets - the Democratic Party's messengers - has now become nothing but opinion against the president.

Recently, Tucker Carlson opened his show on this issue, and Liberty Video News posted this opening segment of video from it on their site in an article titled, Tucker Carlson: When Political Debate Goes Wrong. Knowing how Tucker speaks so quickly through the points he makes, it might behoove one to replay it a few times to catch all of what he's saying in this brief clip, and ponder it carefully.

My Congressman's View on the "Caravan"

Today, I received a response from my Congressman; Adam Smith of the 9th Congressional District. You will find below a pasting of his remarks from that letter.

I shall insert some comments to his points in colored parenthesis.

If  this picture doesn't tell you where this Congressman is coming from, then I've lost you already.

"Thank you for contacting me about the migrant caravan traveling towards our southern border from Central America. I appreciate you taking the time to write me about this critical issue.
In October of 2018, thousands of Central American migrants fled their home countries and formed a group traveling on foot to seek asylum in the United States or Mexico. (Really? Why aren't you mentioning that paid organizers from George Soros, the U.N., and the Ford Foundation would fund their several thousand miles walk/ride on trucks, buses, and trains?) The migrants, most of whom come from countries plagued with gang violence, drug wars, corruption, and political repression, are hoping to escape persecution and threats to their families’ safety. (Sorry, but these types of "persecution and political repression" aren't qualifications for asylum, and you know it!) Initial reports estimated that as many as 7,000 people constituted the caravan, but that number has continued to decline and the caravan was estimated to be down to 3,500 people by mid-October. This number is expected to decline further as many drop off due to the grueling nature of the journey and as people seek asylum in Mexico.
Unfortunately, many have mischaracterized the caravan’s arrival as an “invasion” of the United States and a threat to our national security. The reality, however, is that this is not an invasion and no evidence to date has shown this to be a credible threat to our national security. (Well then, the office aide you pay to write your replies apparently hasn't seen the videos of them tearing down border gates, and throwing rocks and any heavy objects they can at the Mexican Police.) In Fiscal Year (FY) 2019, the U.S. Border Patrol apprehended nearly 400,000 migrants—the arrival of this caravan would constitute less than one percent of that number. (Yes, that's true, but it's also true that a majority of those 400,000 were released after being apprehended coming across the border to stay in the U.S. and 90% nevr show up at the court for their processing hearing.)The United States has a legal obligation to hear asylum claims from all migrants who arrive at our country’s doorstep and express fears of violence in their home countries. We can maintain a secure border as well as the rule of law, while still upholding our country’s values to protect those fleeing persecution and violence. (Sir, you clearly are insane! How can our country uphold our values if those illegals who never become legal immigrants are allowed to repeatedly enter the country, rape or murder our women - ie: MS-13 gangs - or kill our children while driving intoxicated and have no license? You're talking "pipe-dreams" man! The only reason you're defending these people is because they are your party's future voting base.)
The President’s announcement that he will send more troops to the border is fundamentally wrong and is a political act at a time when leadership is needed. We should not be militarizing the border and President Trump has offered no clear idea of what our forces are going to do there. (It's only 'fundamentally wrong' because it hurts your party's efforts to grow your voter base, which is YOUR political act, sir! It is the job of the President to protect our nation's borders, but it seems, from your words, that you think we should just dissolve the borders altogether.) We have seen no evidence that it was helpful or effective when he sent the National Guard to the border in April of 2018. (How do you know that for certain, sir? Were you even looking to check if there were any helpfulness or effectiveness?) Additionally, there is no credible evidence that this caravan presents an actual security threat, thus there is no reason to deploy military resources in response. (Again, it's apparent that you've not been paying any attention to recent reports about the clashes occurring between some of the members and the Mexican Police. Then, there's most likely incidences which have occurred which have not even been reported because no one was there to record them.) As Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, I will continue to lead efforts with my colleagues to demand answers from this administration about the unnecessary and dangerous use of our military to support the President’s troubling anti-immigration agenda. (That you call President Trump's use of the military for this situation 'dangerous and unnecessary' reveals your T.D.S. - Trump Derangement Syndrome - towards the man this nation elected in 2016. That claim is also verified from listening to you explain your views on local radio shows.)
The men, women, and children making up the caravan are fleeing poverty and violence in a very unstable part of the world. (Yea, and we've been pouring billions of dollars of foreign aide to them down a "rat hole" in those Latin American countries for decades now, and NOTHING's changed!) However, the President has threatened to cut off foreign aid to Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador because they “were not able to do the job of stopping people from leaving their country and coming illegally to the U.S.” The idea that cutting aid to these countries will help mitigate the crises they face is utterly ridiculous. (No, if these countries aren't willing to deal with their own problems after we've been sending them aide for decades, then why should we keeping doing the same thing and expect something different? That's the definition of insanity!) In fact, we should be bolstering foreign aid to help improve conditions in these countries. (Sorry, but you've just bolstered my previous point here.)

The United States ought to be leading efforts to bring the countries of the region together to determine what can be done to reduce the horrific conditions that are causing people to flee. (Here we go with the bleeding heart rhetoric, again! Shhhh... I think I can hear that little tiny violin playing. Sir, we've tried that "warm fuzzy" stuff for several decades now, and we tax payers are sick and tired of footing the bill for no results!) I do not have any illusions that this is going to be easy, and it does not fall solely on the United States to resolve these issues, but our role as a global leader should be focused on bringing countries in the region together to make progress on these humanitarian challenges, instead of isolating ourselves in a show of military force. (No, you may not have any illusions, but you certainly do seem to have grand delusions about wasting our financial resources on plans that have shown no results. Our nation's ability to survive is at stake here as we watch our culture morphed into a third world country. We don't want to end up like Venezuela!)
The caravan of people that the President is focused on are coming to seek asylum, (No, many have said on videos that they are coming to get JOBS, OURS!) and they have a lawful right to do so. (Oh NO THEY DON'T!) The Trump administration’s reckless mishandling of this situation is irresponsible and dangerous. Rather than falsely scapegoating immigrants and dangerously mischaracterizing the reality of the situation, we must identify meaningful steps we can take to alleviate the crises that these migrants face in their home countries. (Oh, stop with the fancy sounding rhetoric already!)

Thank you for taking the time to contact me. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any additional questions or concerns. (Sir, I did not write you to ask what you thought about this serious situation we face, I asked you to support OUR President. Yet, you clearly are fighting and obstructing his efforts to keep the promises he made to the citizens of the country who elected him into office. You disgust me. I hope, by some miracle, you lose your seat next week in the coming election!)
Sincerely,

Adam Smith
Member of Congress"

Oh, How Education Has Changed!

My wife, who recently retired from teaching after 34 years at the elementary level, was going through some of her parent's collection of materials folders and found the two attached images of her dad's junior high - he only finished the 8th grade just before WWII - report card from 1940 and a certificate of completion for courses from 1938.

Why do I share this with you? Well, those of you who most likely have seen a child's or relative's report card from the elementary school level these days may understand that the report cards which are sent home today are in some school districts at least several full 8.5"x11" pages of detailed marks for one student's performance. When looking at the attached images, you'll note that the pen was deliberately placed next to the post card size report card from back then to give a comparison to what is produced by a teacher today; multiple pages which supposedly make things clearer for the parent/guardian to understand how the child is doing in school.

You'll note what topics were covered on the certificate of completion paper for Social Studies which don't even appear - because they're not taught in pubic schools anymore - on report cards today.

So, my question is this... why does it take far more documentation for today's students than it did for students prior to WWII, when today's students aren't even studying the same subjects? (The U.S. History taught today is NOTHING like the U.S. History of then. And, they no longer even teach Civics, or Citizenship. Instead, today students in many public schools are learning how to be "social justice warriors".)

Birthright Citizenship

President Trump has put this issue on notice by bringing it up as an agenda item to deal with just before the mid-term election.

I suspect he's done this because of the current "Caravans" coming through Latin America and Mexico.

Those on the left might think he's only doing this to bolster the base of the G.O.P.; and they'd be correct.

But what many on the left don't realize is that as recently as the mid-'90s, both Senator Harry Reid and President Clinton were saying exactly the same thing about immigration President Trump is today. (Caution: Tom Perez answering Jake Tapper's question may cause nausea for conservatives.)

Don't believe me? That would only be because you've not seen the clip that's recently been airing on FOXNews and some web sites.

In just a little over twenty years, the Democratic Party's narrative regarding immigration has changed from what the Republican Party is still saying today, to one of white extremists on the right being racist and bigoted when it comes to immigration.

With the "Caravans" growing by the week, and the confrontations the majority of men in the crowd clashing with Mexican police, it's not unreasonable for many to feel that 5,200 military troops being sent to the border won't be enough to deal with it once they arrive.

Have You Heard This About the Coming Caravan?

PragerU's recent five minute video is on immigration; that it's all about power. For a brief, insightful understanding of the background on how and why the Democratic Party has shifted so dramatically in recent years, I urge you to watch this video.
= = = = = = = = = = = =
Reporting on the coming caravan from Latin America to the border has mislead viewers in the U.S. The president is the bad guy, while liberal/leftists are simply exercising "compassion" for the hordes fleeing to America for asylum.
Naturally, a few key political figures began questioning how such a large contingent of walkers could advance north without some kind of support, or aide, in the form of feeding and providing sanitary facilities at a minimum.
Now that enough time and attention have been focused on the caravan, information has begun to surface to answer this question.

George Soros's Open Society with the aid of the U.N. and a handful of U.S. foundations are supporting this for the purpose of using the Cloward & Piven strategy whereby overwhelming the system - much like the ants attacking the bad guy in the Indiana Jones movie in the jungle - is being used to take control of the political machinery in the country.
This article provides pieces of information which makes it obvious that our mainstream media (D), as the arm of the Democrat Party, has not been forthright with to the American public. Many of the members in the caravan have said on video that they are coming to find jobs. That won't get them in for seeking asylum.

Personally, despite the supposed 800 troops being sent to the southern border to assist the Border Patrol, I can't help but wonder how well this situation will go once the caravan arrives.

This isn't immigration, it's an invasion!

Updates: The number of military troops being sent to the border has now increased to 5200! Also, a follow-up article on a 2nd & 3rd caravan forming and heading north has been reported. Watch the video of buses transporting them.

I urge you to read and watch the videos which reveal quite astounding information as to what's really behind all of this. For the individual who has not lost their critical thinking skills, this information will most likely not be surprising.

Real or Fake?

Many out there in cyberspace, and on conservative talks shows, are speculating that the recent event of packages being sent to various Democrat elites is just another October surprise of the "red flag" kind. I'll let you decide with the following.

For example: (Yes, this has been verified that he actually said this.)

There's this, from the DailyClash.com:
[Rush Limbaugh:]
Conspiracy theorizing: On Wednesday, Rush Limbaugh suggested that a “Democratic operative” was more likely to have sent the devices than a Republican. “Republicans just don’t do this kind of thing,” Limbaugh said. “You’ve got people trying to harm CNN and Obama and Hillary and Bill Clinton and [Florida Rep.] Debbie ‘Blabbermouth’ Schultz and, you know, just, it might serve a purpose here.”
Friday: Limbaugh, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment sent to his radio station, appeared to continue this line on Friday. “Two weeks out, a bunch of bombs start showing up in places that the media can then say that they are being received by ‘Trump targets?’ ” he said on his show. “I’m sorry. I didn’t fall off the turnip truck ever, and certainly not yesterday, and the world of October Surprises coupled with all the other realities I just exposed, and I think it only makes sense to be suspicious and demanding of proof for whatever we’re gonna be told.”
Michael Savage:
Conspiracy theorizing: Savage had said of the bombs Wednesday that there was a “high probability that the whole thing had been set up as a false flag to gain sympathy for the Democrats,” and as a way to distract from the migrant situation in southern Mexico, according to the Guardian.
Friday: Savage, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment sent to the administrators of his website, continued to sow doubt about the line of information coming from the authorities about the bombs.
“Michael, your description yesterday of the guy they’d pin (maga hat, confed flag, etc) sounds right on the money💰 Only thing you didn’t envision was a van slathered in pro-Trump images. Once again you were correct!,” he tweeted.
And a follow up: “MAN AND VAN LOOK LIKE CREATED BY HOLLYWOOD,” he wrote.
Source: WaPo
And, of course, the Democrats are acting as though they have no responsibility in this at all. Well, just look at this below to understand why they're complete and total liars.
