Zombie Companies?

Is this article what drives the popular obsession about a "Zombie Apocalypse" coming?  No, but the term zombie has now become so popular that its use is profuse. For a history of the whole zombie culture obsession with this topic, I recommend this site for specifics.  

When it comes to the phrase "zombie companies", we're talking about those companies which are in debt and are struggling to just pay the interest on that debt, let alone the principle on that debt.

Most people out there are too busy doing what they're doing to even be interested in knowing much of anything about our nation's economy and how it actually works.  In a time when the cost of living keeps climbing, it tough enough for the majority to just make enough to pay all the bills, let alone accumulate any savings.

But, for those who do know something about how our nation's economic engine works today, this article will be of interest to you.  While it is longer than most are willing to dig through, it does contain some rather interesting information about how our nation came dangerously close to another economic collapse.

In the middle of the article there is a chart titled "S&P 1,5000 - Zombie Companies".  Just above that chart is with a link to this video which explains what our nation is headed for should we encounter another economic circumstance like it went through in 2008.

There are many who believe that, when we experience the next economic collapse, it will affect the world's economy and it will be much more severe than 2008; creating a  scenario of a zombie apocalypse which was popular on television titled "Walking Dead".

Niceness Is Not A Virture?

No, and neither is pacifism a virtue.

Liberals... You Can't Have It Both Ways!

In all of the broo, ha, ha about the Stephanopoulos interviewing Pres. Trump and asking him about whether he'd listen to "dirt" from a foreign source, it's finally catching on.*

Liberals are not intellectually honest.

Liberals are refusing to have even a moment of moral consistency. They are suggesting that  information passed along from foreign officials is bad.

But then, they're suggesting that it's not bad if it's paid for.

Then again, liberals are suggesting that if Pres. Trump gets information from foreign sources he should pass it along to the FBI, which is what he said he would do in the interview with Stephanopoulos.

When Pres. Trump and his team did get suspect information from a foreign source about Joe Biden's son engaged in extremely shady deals in both Ukraine and China, and the president's team did pass that information on to the FBI did pass it along, like he should, it was the Democrats, and the New York Times - their allies over there - that jumped on Trump for weaponizing the government!

Folks, you simply can not have it both ways! Either we're supposed to contact the FBI, or we're not.

* Do NOT forget, folks, that George "Steponallofus" was Pres. Bill Clinton's main insider for both his campaign and presidency. Also, It's obvious to me that this interview was another set up by liberals to create more anti-Trump impeachment sentiment for their rabid base who can't stand the fact that Pres. Trump is totally upsetting the status quo of the hundreds of thousands who make their living within the "Swamp" inside the beltway of D.C. gradually nudging the country into a globalist new world order, and they can't stand it!

By Any Means Necessary

Over the last decade the political landscape has definitely changed.  How?  If you aren't sure how to, or can't, answer that question yourself, then you're either not aware of what's been gradually happening in the arena of politics, or you are inclined to agree with that shift going on.

I believe many Americans, especially the younger generations, don't realize the impact of what's going on.  Their perspective is one of normalcy; they've not lived long enough to have perspective of just how different things have become.  How accelerated it is, compared to, say, before they were born.  They've been exposed to conditions which convince them that this change is normal, if not an improvement that's making life in our country better.

What am I talking about? I'll put it this way...

I get emails regularly from friends sharing a collection of images with captions disparaging a political opponent; making fun of them. Alexandria Occasio-Cortez, the new "face of the Democrat Party" as the Media (D) likes to say.  Most make fun of her ignorance due to the many ignorant statements she's already made since taking office.

I get the point, but I can't help but wonder... how serious do those who distribute these humorous collections take her, or others?

Is she just a phenomenon?  A blip on the radar of the new face of politics? I think not.

But, I'll let you be the judge of that yourself by watching the video within this article.  Once you view it, you'll understand why I title this post the way I did.

As I've stated in my previous posts here, after seeing what was coming up through the ranks of students in my classrooms, and what they said, did, and believed, it's not surprising to me that this trend will continue to grow.

Letter to Pelosi

Dear Ms. Pelosi:

I write to you out of utter disdain! You are as despicable and un-American as the traitor Jane Fonda.

I am a soon to be 75-year-old who has voted in every state and local election since 1966.  I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats alike.  I have worked on campaigns for both Republicans and Democrats, white and black.  I served the country that I love in Vietnam, as my son did in the Middle East.  I was awarded two bronze stars.  I have been involved in politics since age 6 when my father was campaign manager for a truly great American Congressman, Charles Raper Jonas, who worked for his constituents and his country, and was to be admired, unlike you.

You obviously haven’t read the Constitution recently, if ever, the Federalist Papers, or even David McCullough’s book on John Adams. You ought to take the time while riding around in your government provided luxury executive jet to do just that. You represent Socialistic and even Marxist principals that our founding fathers tried to avoid when setting out the capitalistic republican form of government represented by our Constitution.

I find it interesting that you and your husband are multi-millionaires with much of your fortune being made as a result of your public service. You have controlled legislation that has enhanced your husband's investments both on and off shore.  At the same time, you redistributed the wealth of others.  Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of you. You ride around in a Gulfstream airplane at the tax payers expense while criticizing the presidents of companies who produced something for the economy. You add nothing to the economy of the United States; you only subtract there from.

I would like to suggest that you return to the city of fruitcakes and nuts and eat your husband's canned tuna and pineapple produced by illegal immigrants and by workers who have been excluded from the protection that 90% of the legal workers in the United States have.

I await your defeat in the next election with glee...

Don’t ever use the term un-American again for protesters who love this country and are exercising their rights upon which this country was founded. By the way, while I served in the Army, I was spit on by the same type of lunatics who support you and who you probably supported in the 60s and 70s. You are an embarrassment to all of us who served so that you would have the protected right of free speech to call us un-American.  But at the same time, I have the right to write you to notify you that I consider you to be un-American, as do the majority of the people of this formerly great country.  You are a true disgrace to most of the people who served this country by offering themselves for public service in the United States Congress.

I feel certain your aides will not share this letter with you, but I intend to share it with many...  

A Nation No Longer "...Under God"?

Dear God,

You have been my rock, my guiding light, my assurance when situations have appeared dire.  Over these many years, you've offered unparalleled wisdom and comfort to my life.  However, after nearly two hundred and fifty years of my life, a first has occurred which has never happened before.

It was by your divine providence that I was born.  You protected my founding father & first president from being killed several times in battle.  You helped me see the truth about an institution which, sadly, was a part of the early culture which helped me grow into a strong and thriving place among many, at the cost of their freedom and respect; slaves.
  
I gave up hundreds of thousands to you who fought to put that horrible institution to an end, then I paid the price for over a hundred years after that, to overcome the consequences of this vile thing that hung over my people like a dark ominous cloud; the KKK & Jim Crow.

Eventually, I became the envy of everyone else.  I have been desired by them, because my founding fathers recognized the principles and truths behind your loving grace. They established me under the truth that all of my citizens were born with unalienable rights you gave them, and not government, as well as those who sought to come to me because of that truth, by acknowledging you as the provider of the rights you bestowed on them from creation in my declaration from tyranny.

But now, there those among the elected few today who have come to see fit to no longer acknowledge your importance  any longer.  They now have decided to ignore you by simply leaving any reference to you, even when those called before that governing body to testify to the truth using a simple oath mentioning your name.

I'm sorry!  Please, God, forgive those who think and believe they're representing those of us who still love, revere and acknowledge you as our creator, and are grateful always for the blessings you've bestowed upon my people.  Help us to pray for them.  Help us to love them, despite their well meant intentions out of whatever it is that motivates them to do what they are now trying to do. As your son said, "Forgive them, for they know not what they do."

Your word tells us, Lord, that if we acknowledge our sins, and repent, you will forgive us.  For, if we don't, and we continue down this path, then we are unknowingly bringing upon ourselves a circumstance which I will potentially never escape. And, I will move from being a "shining city on a hill", to one groping around in a dark cave of despair and lamentations (like Venezuela is now); never knowing whether we will be able to return to the liberties, freedoms and prosperity we have enjoyed and taken for granted for these many years of my recent past.

The Resurrected Use of Calumny

Calumny: "False & malicious misrepresentation of the words or actions of others, calculated to injure their reputation" (Dictionary.com)

New material was finally acquired this past week by Judicial Watch revealing proof that James Baker, a former American government official at the Department of Justice who served as general counsel for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), gave the Clinton team all their information on their investigation about her "outlaw" email server.

Now we know why the server's hard drive was BleachBitted, her Blackberries were hammered to pieces, and some of Hillary's close advisor, who were lawyers, were allowed to represent her when she was brought into the FBI for questioning; even though James Comey had already crafted his exoneration speech months before. It's a good thing "Carlos Danger" - Huma Abadin's husband, Cong. Weiner - had Clinton emails on his laptop, which were discovered later.
