How Far Will Democrats Take Infanticide?

To some Democrats, these are an inconvenience under the premise of control over their body, even after birth now.

Update: Here's an email from the Susan B. Anthony List organization I received 2/12/19 with the following announcement:
Friend,
The New Mexico House just voted to allow abortion UP UNTIL BIRTH.
THIS CANNOT GO ON. WE MUST KEEP FIGHTING.
Public pressure from our Pro-Life Movement helped defeat a similar bill in Virginia. It’s our moral duty to once again fight on behalf of the voiceless and STOP this legislation.
Not only does this bill repeal a prior ban on late-term abortions, but it also FORCES medical professionals who believe abortion is killing to defy their conscience and deeply held religious beliefs that life is sacred.
The truth has finally come out. Those advocating for this extremism aren’t “pro-choice.” They’re pro-abortion.
That’s why they CHEERED and dressed in pink when New York legalized abortion up until birth.
Pink -- the color once used to celebrate the arrival of a new baby girl into our world -- is now the chosen color to rejoice in her death.
This cannot go on. But our condemnations aren’t enough. We must take action.

The following excerpt from an article published on BlazeTV's site was shared with me from an e-friend today. Reading it both breaks my heart an infuriates me. I immediately wrote my state Senator who is the individual responsible for this single "Nay" vote.

Now, I wish I'd copied my message I sent to her to paste here. Trust me, it wasn't all rose petals and perfume type remarks to her.

Sen. Ben Sass' 'Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act' falls because of one Democrat

Let's play a round of "How far will Democrats take this?"
First question: Will Democrats shoot down a bill that would literally require doctors to treat babies who survive abortions?
The answer is: You bet they will.
Yesterday, Senate voted on whether or not to pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which, according to LifeSite News "defines infant survivors of abortion as "human beings" entitled to all the rights in the U.S. Constitution, was passed by both Democrats and Republicans in 2002 and signed into law by then-President George W. Bush."
RELATED: The time to take a stand on abortion is now and Sen. Ben Sasse is answering the bell
The vote needed to be unanimous.
One Democrat voted against it, like leaving a single penny as a tip at a restaurant, only so much worse, because human lives are on the line. Senator Patty Murray, Democrat from Washington, voted against the bill, which is unlikely to pass in a Democrat-controlled House.
Murray's vote blocks a voice vote.
In response, two Representatives from Washington, Murray's home state, made statements reproving her vote.
Representative Newhouse, a Republican, said:
It doesn't matter how they have entered this world; providing medical care for babies who have just been born is a human rights issue. … I am deeply disappointed that the U.S. Senate—and Senator from Washington state—could not come to unanimous agreement to approve legislation to require medical care for newborn children. This is about the value our society places on newborn children.
Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers:
It's heartbreaking that extreme party politics just superseded the principle of basic human dignity. With technology today, we can look into the womb and we can see the development of the baby day-by-day. It's the most amazing thing in the world. I urge Democrats in the Senate who block the Born Alive Abortion Protection Act to take a step back, look at the science, and consider what this means. It should be unthinkable to end the life of a living baby.
Majority Leader Senator Mitch McConnell called the act:
Legislation that ought to be the very definition of something that receives unanimous consent in this body. It's harrowing that this legislation is even necessary. It was even more disturbing when last week, a Democrat governor was unable to simply state that of course — of course — these newborn babies have human rights that must be respected.
It's like the Left is doubling down on murder. It's like they're saying, "Oh, you think regular abortion is bad? You think that's killing babies? You haven't seen anything yet."
As long as Donald Trump is president it's going to be like this. At least that long. Because, really, that's what the left is furious about. That's why the Covington thing happened. Joy Behar's exact words, after Whoopi Goldberg asked, "Why do we keep making the same mistake," was "Because we're desperate to get Trump out of office."

And, from Laura Ingraham's 2/4/19 show, her opening "The Angle" titled "The PC Puritans" which starts at 2 minutes into this recording, makes the point that this is yet another distraction for the Media (D) away from the more important issue and how Republicans should not let them ignore what went down in New York recently.

A Five Star S.O.T.U.S.

President Trump's State of the Union Speech last night was, in my opinion, a five star address to the nation. I believe that it will go down as one of the more notable S.O.T.U. speeches, if not the best given the current circumstances the nation is in.

Of course, those who've been watching the "anti-Trump" channels - CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, and PBS, were either shaking their heads out of ideological disagreement, as some in the chamber were doing, or, were surprised to hear things the administration has done in some areas - like women's employment - because the channels they've listened to have never told the viewers these things.

I was especially pleased to hear the president speak directly to the border crisis. Did you notice how Speaker Pelosi was the "gals in white" crew orchestra leader? When Pres. Trump touched on this issue, she had to hold her hand up to hush their reaction from getting too loud. Then too, there was the other part where, when mentioning the highest women's employment stats, they couldn't contain themselves and leapt up to cheer information I suspect some of them were totally unaware of. Here's that section of the speech.

However, once the euphoria of the speech subsides, and the Democrats are back at the negotiation table - if they even show up - will realize from the poll results that they're in a bad position to win anything in their favor. Because of this reality, I tend to think they're going to allow the government shutdown again in an effort to shift the blame - as they did the first time - on the president.

I hope I'm completely wrong and am surprised that an agreement on funding the building of the border wall is reached.

Here's Roy Beck, head of NumbersUSA, with his blog reaction to the speech last night. He has more in-depth understanding of the issue than I.

And, here's Media Research Center's compilation of what went on before, during, and after the speech.

What Everyone Wants to Ignore

My brother in California sent this out to his "circle of friends" list, so I thought I'd share it here. Most who hear about this either don't understand what's going on because finance isn't taught in school anymore, or, if they do, their eyes gloss over when hearing this news because it's so frustrating, or they don't want to hear bad news. This attitude will be their demise when the "smelly stuff hits the fan".

= = = = = = = = =

The below is from Jim Rickards’ Strategic Intelligence.  Our country is not far from a financial implosion.  Read below.  I’m using most of my financial assets to buy physical gold and silver.  You might want to consider protecting your assets by doing the same.

IV. Debt-Financed Growth Works Until It Doesn’t. We’re Now in the Red Zone
John Maynard Keynes was famous for the idea that in a liquidity trap where individuals and companies refused to spend or invest and hoarded cash, it was the responsibility of government to stimulate the economy by deficit spending. Keynes’ ideas have some merit in a situation where the government is not heavily indebted to begin with and where the economy is in a severe recession or the early stages of a recovery. Keynes died in 1946, but his ideas lived on. The problem was that “deficit spending” became an all-purpose excuse for more government entitlements rather than the limited recession remedy Keynes envisioned. The U.S. has only had three modest surplus years in the past 50 years; the other 47 years were all deficits. The U.S. national debt now stands at $21 trillion (not including guarantees and entitlement liabilities) and the debt-to-GDP ratio now stands at 106% (the highest since 1945). Worse yet, the U.S. is past the point where debt creates any growth at all. The U.S. is in a zone where more debt actually hurts growth and slows the economy, while the debt remains. This article reports on the return of $1 trillion annual deficits under Donald Trump for the first time since the early years of the Obama administration. Both Republicans and Democrats embrace crude versions of Keynes’ original ideas without regard to the fact that there is no stimulus in current conditions and additional debt risks a complete loss of confidence in the U.S. government’s finances and the role of the dollar. If Keynes were alive today, he’d be the first one to object to such out-of-control spending and profligate debt levels. You can lodge your own objection by getting out of risky assets and into a combination of liquid assets and safe havens such as gold.
V. The Fed Could Not Escape the Room. Now We’re Stuck. Got Gold?
An 11-year monetary experiment is coming to an end in failure. No one knows what happens next, but the need to position portfolios to preserve wealth has never been greater. The experiment began in the midst of the financial panic of 2008 when the Fed began printing money under a program called “quantitative easing,” or QE. This first program lasted until June 2010. After a pause, the Fed began a new program of money printing called QE2 in November 2010, which lasted until July 2011. The Fed then took another pause, but the economy weakened so a new program called QE3 started in September 2012, which lasted until October 2014. All told, the QE programs expanded the Fed’s balance sheet from $800 billion to $4.5 trillion. At the same time, the Fed held interest rates at zero from December 2008 to December 2015. It has raised rates to 2.5% since. The benefits of money printing and zero rates are still under debate. But beginning in December 2015 with the first rate hike in nine years and in October 2017 with the first balance sheet reductions since the crisis, the Fed began to “normalize” interest rates and balance sheet to prepare for the next recession. The goal was to get rates up to 4% and get the balance sheet down to $2.5 billion in time to fight a recession. The conundrum was whether the Fed could normalize without causing the recession they were preparing to fight. According to this article and recent remarks by Fed Chair Jay Powell, it appears the answer is no. The Fed will pause in its interest rate hikes in March and may also slow the rate of balance sheet reductions in the near future. This is in response to a slowing U.S. economy and slowing global growth. The Fed cannot normalize without causing a recession, which means it cannot prepare for the next recession. The Fed is stymied and cannot escape the room. The only way out is inflation. Investors should prepare accordingly.

Political Posturing By The Left Over Wall

In a recent post, I shared an overview of various situations and acts by the Leftists in Congress and the country which explain how the leftists have done their best to obstruct the president's efforts to do anything.

Now, news has broke that just yesterday - Monday, February 4th - they've introduced a bill to prevent Pres. Trump from being able to use any resources to build any border barriers or structures to impede the immigrants coming into the country illegally.

For me, it's not the bill they've introduced, as much as it is the intent to try and control the president's ability to execute his Constitutional duty of protecting the country in what is clearly a long overdue crisis which must be dealt with in light of the fact that we now have several more immigrants coming north through Mexico from an assortment of Central American countries. (My search resulted in only one report. "Tech Tyranny" is alive and well!)

And the excuse used to justify this bill is that it creates an unequal power between the legislative and executive branches of government. That's so laughable because they know that this is how the Constitution was and is set up, but they - in their ongoing effort to manufacture in the public's mind that something exists, which does not - they're attempting to generate significant public support for their side of a phantom argument. They realize they're losing this battle and becoming desperate.

To more clearly illustrate this point about the Democrats' tactics, I urge my readers to watch this Senate speech and learn how, during the shutdown, they absolutely refused to vote for a bill that the Republicans introduced which would pay the Coast Guard for purely political reasons. Over 2.3 million views already!

Anyone who knows the basic process by which bills are introduced in either house of Congress, this act by Speaker Pelosi - and, of course, supported by Sen. Schumer in the Senate - is no more than political posturing and will certainly die in the Senate. More importantly, they know full well that even if it did pass in the Senate by some miracle - given that the Senate is majority Republican, the president still has to sign such a bill into law. Like... DUH!!! that's going to happen.

This, clearly, is the Leftists doing their best to fire up public sentiment against the president in waging their war on his efforts to deal with the crisis. We who support the president need to call and/or write our senators and representative to express our sentiments about this absurd bill knowing full well that Pres. Trump has the Constitutional authority to declare a national emergency. In fact, last night on Tucker Carlson Tonight, it was pointed out that there have been multiple national emergencies declared by presidents of which some have gone on for as long as nine years.

What's the Positive Side of Things Today?

I must admit that, when I first saw Diamond & Silk burst onto the national scene, I was skeptical as to whether they were sincere and real; suspicious that they were just being opportunists. However, it's obvious to me, now that enough time and evidence has demonstrated that they're for real, [When the social media platforms censor them, you know they're being effective.] I am grateful to see what they're doing and have accomplished to promote conservative values for our nation.

I know I harp a lot on what's going on, in a negative light, so I thought I'd share this short video of Jesse Watters, of "Watter's World", interviewing Diamond & Silk and how their tour across the nation has gone over the last year. The sharing of positive things happens half-way through, so don't quit watching too soon. They provide us a positive perspective on what they've encountered as they meet, talk to people on the street, and share their findings with Jesse.

Healing Our Nation!

This was shared by a good friend who shares my values and once was a Democrat, until he realized the party left him by becoming too radicalized. My research on this event reveals that this obviously occurred years ago, but is verified. In fact, if the minister's name is used in the search term, a few videos regarding it appear. In one of them the actual prayer is read aloud by another man who apparently is a friend of the minister, but some words, or sentences are slightly different.
= = = = = = = = = = = =
Prayer given in Kansas State Senate:

If this doesn't say it all, then I don't know what does. Thought you might enjoy this interesting prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their [state] Senate. It seems prayer still upsets some people.. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities; but this is what they heard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.  We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possession and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Amen!"

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. [They couldn't stand hearing the truth.]
In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa and Korea.  With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called 'one nation under God.'
 = = = = = = = = = =

Since this event occurred our nation's political scene has clearly become less respectful and courteous and more visceral and contentious. Here's a short video from PragerU which illustrates this point clearly. I hope it will help in understanding where I'm coming from, because his explanation of our current situation is "spot on"!

How Do Civil Wars Happen?

The Civil War we know about and understand is a historical event which happened in 1861 - 1865, or 158 years ago.

The man who's most noted as the key figure in this war was Abraham Lincoln who was the first Republican president to be elected. We also learned that the reason why the Republican Party came to be was because a former party - the Whigs - gradually fell out of favor with the voters of the country over several decades prior.

Why do I make this point? Because it's become obvious to me that history is about to repeat itself. Only this time, it will be the Democrat Party's turn.

When two or more sides disagree on who should run the country and these sides can't settle this question through our election process as the accepted way to decide who's in charge, a civil war begins to percolate across the country. Thank God it hasn't already broken out!

Back in the late 1850s this circumstance occurred, just as it is occurring today. Only today, when you stop accepting election results - as in 2000 and our most recent election of 2016 - you have a civil war brewing. Once Lincoln was in office, the press savaged him regarding his handling of the war which broke out over the issue of slavery and state's rights. The only real difference between then, and now, is that there was an expected level of decorum and social decency during Lincoln's term. Today... forget it! (Then too, we know how Lincoln's second term ended. I pray it doesn't happen again.)

Simply put, the Mueller investigation - for those of us who've done our research on the facts about this, which the vast majority of the Media (D) will not disclose to their viewers - is about removing President Trump from office and overturning the results of the 2016 election. Consider the fact that, after the mid-terms, that in the now dominated House run by Speaker Pelosi, we're witnessing impeachment proceedings gearing up. I can't help but wonder, is this payback for impeaching Pres. Clinton over being "Lewinskied" in a side room of the Oval Office?

But, this is not the first time a Republican president has been elected recently where the Democrats said he didn't really win. We saw weeks of ballot recounts and the Florida State Supreme Court finally was overruled by the U.S. Supreme Court to give "Bush 43" the nod over Al Gore; the Democratic Party nominee. (Wait, didn't we just have another similar debacle about votes in Florida in our last mid-term elections? How interesting!)

Fast forward to Trump winning the election in 2016, much to the dumbfounded shock and disbelief of the Media (D), and all of a sudden this president can't do anything. He can't undo the DACA law his predecessor enacted illegally. No, a Republican president isn't allowed to have total and complete 'discretion' to reverse anything a Democrat president did.

Do you recognize a pattern here? If the Democrats rejected "Bush 43's" win and the media pummeled him relentlessly over his two terms in office - remember how they made him out to be stupid and "cowboyish" - and the same thing is happening when the next Republican winner who's an "outsider" gets into to office over their presumptive winner, what does it mean? It means that they don't accept any results when they don't win. It also means that they don't accept that transfers of power from one party to another are determined by elections as practiced for over two centuries now. Remember when, shortly after the 2016 election, we heard talk from the Democrats about abolishing the Electoral College?

So, in my view, this is a new civil war simmering!

The only difference between the last one, and this one, is that there's no shooting. Well, at least yet. There was that one off incident in Virginia where the guy attempted to kill a bunch of Republican Congressman playing at a baseball game practice and nearly killing Congressman Scalise.

Democrats claim they're practicing "resistance". And, the more time goes by, the more we learn about the ranks of bureaucrats who've been in their agency positions during Obummer's two terms and are still there, and the subversive acts those bureaucrats are implementing to sabotage our current president's efforts to enact real, meaningful changes to our nation's policies on all levels.

Such revelations are making it more and more clear that the Democrats really want a form of soft dictatorship wrapped in a socialist blanket. Their very own dictatorship. The only legitimate form of power, in this country according to the Democrats, is its own. After they lost the Congress, and the White House, they implemented their "plan B"; ruling the country via Federal Court judges and bureaucrats.

How many times have we seen the president enact an executive order - the same type of action by the previous president - only to have some judge in Hawaii or Seattle slap an injunction on it because it went against their policy on the issue? Folks, that's a form of civil war by usurping a president's authority. As we all know, our system of government is based on the Constitution. However, that doesn't seem to be the way our system's now being run! Fits right into their notion of a "living document" that morphs to their needs, doesn't it?

As the Democrats see it, their system is that any part of the government that it runs through their infiltration of nearly every level - from city, to state, to federal - gets total and unlimited power over the entire country. When Pres. Obummer was in the White House, he could do anything. Think back for a second. He gave temporary amnesty to a select group of illegal aliens. He also told you that you could keep your current health insurance plan or doctor if you liked either, or both, over 20 times and for several months leading up to the passage of the bill. He also told us repeatedly that we'd save an average of $2,500 per person! Speaker Pelosi told us we had to pass it before we knew what it would contain. Then, after passing, we learned that we'd be fined for not having the "Affordable Healthcare" which wasn't affordable at all, and premiums skyrocketed!

Let's not forget that when Democrat presidents are in office, states aren't allowed to enforce federal immigration law; especially when it goes against his policy. Remember Arizona? Yet, when a Republican president is in office, states - like California - can create their own immigration laws; like being a sanctuary state, or Governor Jerry Brown saying that his state is an independent republic and can sign treaties with other countries. Well folks, the Constitution has something to say about that! (Sadly, but perhaps for a very good reason we don't yet know, or understand, nothing's been done about these abuses of law.)

No, the left can move power around, whether it's federal, state, executive, legislative or judiciary, to run the country when their party isn't in the White House these days. Thus, their moving form of dictatorship is to control every institution and make it the supreme power of the land whenever a Republican president is in the executive branch.

If this president has done anything of major significance, it is to expose the professional government, also known as the massive bureaucracy they've carefully nurtured and grown over several decades. In other words, it has become a guild much like the ones that existed in the medieval days. You are not allowed to serve in it if you're not a member. You must be indoctrinated into its arcane rituals. Intersectionality, global warming or climate change that's going to end the world in just 12 more years, you know, that sort of stuff. And Trump definitely isn't in the club. Since he brought in a bunch of people who also aren't in the club, we're seeing results which make the amateurs who've never held a real job in the Obummer administration look utterly incompetent. But that's because they have no clue what works; only their utopian dreams. Trade deals, foreign policy re-alignments, record employment for all groups, the list goes on and on.

Instead, the Democrats spy on them, investigate them and send some of Trump's low level operatives to jail for process crimes of not being able to keep dates, times, or places straight. They use the only thing they know and understand... power as a dictator would.

That's NOT a free country!

FBI agents who adamantly support the Democrat Party's nominee and take out "an insurance policy" against the opposition candidate from winning the election, and when their president's officials engage in the massive unmasking of their opposition, or when power players aligned with the loser ban free speech rights of conservatives on social media platforms, but more importantly, when all of the above collude together to overturn an election's outcome because their candidate was supposed to win and the opposition was supposed to lose, but did, then we don't have a free country; we have a two tiered justice system and tyranny.

And now, we are going through the issue of funding the wall. After the longest ever government shutdown because of the Democrat's refusal to even negotiate a compromise with Pres. Trump, he's given them what they wanted by providing a three week period to reopen the government in order to sit down and talk, with the condition that the president will call for a national emergency if an agreement isn't reached. Yet, both Sen. Schumer and Speaker Pelosi are reneging on what they asked for, and no progress is forthcoming as of this date. Most of us don't really understand what this could portend if the nation is under the cloud of a national emergency. Perhaps we'll find out.

Let's be very clear! We are in a civil war, folks. It's between Conservative volunteer government that serves the true power base - the interest of the people - and the leftists Democrat professionals in government who desire to implement a dictatorship using socialism as their new banner held up by Alexandria Ocassio-Cortez; the all knowing.
