If The Facts Don't Fit the Legend, Print the Legend

It seems that too many journalists are motivated by their personal sentiments, or, more often, by their desire to make a name for themselves in a highly competitive profession. Here's one example which illustrates how an individual's reputation can be sullied in the public's eye by journalists making up untrue stories for personal motives.
