It's amazing how much interesting material is on the Internet these days by others who understand what's really going on. When I came across the YouTube title, "Thomas Sowell - Three Questions for Liberals" I was interested because I've always admired his ability to succinctly explain and illustrate for us lesser brilliant minds what is really behind various issue we're trying to understand.
But, the real surprise of this video is that it goes into the history of the "Housing Bubble" - something I've studied in the past, including "Reckless Endangerment" and Sowell's book on this topic "The Housing Boom & Bust" - and does a great job of showing how former Congressman Barney Frank was initially defending the warnings by various Republicans of the day that nothing needed to be done, then, after the bubble burst, he uses the tactic of blaming those same people for causing it.
A fascinating example of how liberal politicians operate to misdirect the public's perception of who's actually to blame for undesirable outcomes!
